2 DAYS TANZANIA CAMPING SAFARI

OPTION 1: Tarangire & Ngorongoro. OPTION 2 Manyara & Ngorongoro.

Day 0: Arrival Day.

On your arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport you will meet the office representative, transfer to your lodge for overnight on this day before safari begin on next day.

Accommodation at: Venice Hotel

Meals Plane: BB (Bed and breakfast) dinner by own.

 

Day 1: To Tarangire or Manyara.

Depart from Arusha drive to Tarangire National Park or to Lake Manyara National Park. It will take you approximately two hours to reach the park entry gate. Tarangire well known as home of Elephants, the photography safari will start from the main gate, impalas, giraffes, zebras, etc., will be observing at the beginning of entry at the gate. Your guide will lead you to the Tarangire river whereby the abundant of elephants are common seen, proceed with game drive till afternoon, lunch at the picnic site on the top of Tarangire river, afternoon game drive, evening drive to mto wa mbu at Fanaka campsite for dinner and overnight.

 

If your safari option is to lake Manyara park, there at the entry gate will start by primates on trees at the green forest near the entry gate, Manyara the small but has its own unique beauty known as tree climbing lion, this photography safari will take you to observe giraffes, elephants, antelopes, and lions on tree if lucky as per park’s  slogan, picnic lunch at the designed site at lake shore, Manyara is great place for bird watchers, from small and colorful to big ones, late evening drive to Fanaka campsite for dinner and overnight.

Distance from Arusha: 120km, 2 hours drive.

Game drive Duration: 6 hours drive.

Distance to the Camp: 1.5  hour drive.

Meals of the day: Lunch and Dinner.

Accommodation Type: Camping at Fanaka.

Transport: 4×4 Land cruiser.

Day 2: To Ngorongoro Crater-Arusha.

Early in the morning have your breakfast, thereafter drive to Ngorongoro crater, descend to 600 meters to the crater floor, Ngorongoro crater the self-dependent ecosystem, home of carnivores, antelopes and herbivores. If lucky you may see the big 5 in Ngorongoro, this includes lion, leopard, rhino, elephants and buffaloes. At the Magadi lake, several water birds are found here this includes the beautiful flamingoes, herons, pelicans etc. The Lerai forest, home of baboons and monkeys, elephants, bushbucks, waterbucks, even leopard etc. the size of crater floor 260sq km, The Munge River is the source of fresh water in the area, swamps are found here, the place to see hippopotamus, the open areas where you will the grazing animals. Afternoon you will taken to the picnic site, is the same place to see hippos up close, after lunch have on-route game drive ascend and drive back to Arusha town.

 

Distance from mto wa mbu: 35km, almost 1 hour drive

Game drive Duration: 6 hours

Meals of the day: Breakfast and Lunch

Distance to Arusha: 180km 3 hours maximum drive.

Accommodation Type: Camping at Fanaka

Transport: 4×4 Land cruiser

Rates include:

  • Customized Private Safari jeep 4×4 Toyota land cruiser with full-length photographic open roof and all clients are guaranteed window seats. Or 4×4 Open Land Cruiser or Land Rover if requested.
  • All services of a trained and experienced English speaking driver guide.
