Your guide will ensure you are well-prepared for your adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking – The Adventure of a Lifetime

On Day 2, get ready for the ultimate wildlife encounter as you set out early in the morning for your gorilla tracking adventure. Your day will begin with a briefing from your expert guide, who will provide you with all the necessary information on gorilla behavior, safety precautions, and the importance of conserving these magnificent creatures.

After the briefing, you will begin your trek into the forest, which can take anywhere from 1 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla group. The terrain is rugged and often steep, but the experience of coming face-to-face with these gentle giants makes it all worthwhile.

Once you find the gorillas, you will spend an hour with them, observing their behavior, taking photos, and appreciating their incredible presence. The encounter is nothing short of magical, as you witness the gorillas’ family interactions, playful behavior, and remarkable intelligence.

After the tracking experience, return to your lodge to relax and reflect on your unforgettable day.
