Our Reviews
EXCELLENT Based on 50 reviews Nelia M2023-02-20Verified Beyond my wildest dreams! This has got to be the best safari I’ve had so far! CASTOR was a great tour guide & a fantastic navigator. It felt like the animals were his paid actors as he was amazing at spotting them and knowing where to look for them - his knowledge and immersion to all of the animals was mind-blowing. You get to see The Big Five, plus a whole lot more of animals in the wild! I witnessed the great migration with millions of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, etc. just passing through in front of my eyes! All you have to do is exist, relax, enjoy the scenery and everything is prepped and provided for you (including cold refreshments throughout the day!). The picnics were delicious, the accommodations were very comfortable, and the Game Drives were insanely AMAZING! Left and right you see something interesting, and it’s just a beautiful sight to see. Aside from the game drives, one of the best part was waking up in a beautiful tented camp in Serengeti! I’d do it all over again. Highly recommend doing your safari with Nature Excursion and with CASTOR. Thank you so much for such the wonderful experience! I am definitely coming back. Alanna I2022-12-20Verified Amazing experience for a solo traveler! I had the best time. Castor was my guide and made the experience fantastic. I did a 3 day safari to Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti and Lake Manyara, which Castor put together for me on request. Castor know all the routes to take to find the animals and made sure I got extra time with my favourites (hippos and birds). Highlights were seeing a hyena pack circling a Lion eating a kill, and being in the middle of a family of elephants. Castor was so knowledgable about all the animals and the environment I felt the experience was really tailored so that I would have maximum enjoyment, Castor even stopped at a Masai craft shop that would take cars so I could by souvenirs on the way home! Communication was great, food and accommodation also great. I was traveling solo and can’t recommend Castor highly enough, an extremely friendly and knowledgable guide who enjoys sharing Tanzania with those on safari. Thomas G2022-09-01Verified Awesome 1 week safari as a couple This company has been recommended by a friend that did a previous safari with Nature Excursion and especially Castor (best guide & driver ever). We plan the whole safari through WhatsApp and Castor kindly change multiples times our program and accommodation as our needs evolves. Nature excursion is one of the only safari company that proposed us to split camping & tented lodge during the safari in order to keep a reasonable budget. In term of value for money I couldn’t have expect more ! We managed to see everything we wanted to see and even more (big 5, gnou migration, baby lions, predators attacks, big snakes…). Castor knows Tanzania as his pocket and while there were plenty of other tourists in zone area, he brings us to small awesome place to avoid the crowd ! (Especially to see the migration). The safari was also a human encounter and we loved to get to know through Castor how Tanzanian people (massai, chaga…) are leaving. Overall, you can trust Nature Excursion and Castor to make the most of your time in Tanzania ! Highly recommend ! LengTan2022-08-05Verified Best safari ever! Our family of 3 (2 adults + 7 year old) just came back from a 6-day safari in Tanzania and wow, what a trip! From pre-departure communication to on-arrival logistics and game drives, Castor has it all covered. Castor came across highly recommended by European friends living in Tanzania and who have used his services before and we were so glad to have found him as there are just so many operators around. Besides being highly professional and experienced (he's been a safari guide for over a decade), we felt very safe in his driving skills as he navigated through the low-visibility dusty roads. Castor gave us a lot of information on the animals and birds, their habitats and habits, hunted down all the animals on our to-see list (we saw the Big 5 and many many more), and was also very accommodating to our endless need for photo-taking. He even suggested angles to take or to move the vehcile so we could get better shots. We also had a lot of questions on the local way of life (notably the various tribes) and Castor's sharing was invaluable. On our last day back, we had some hours before flight and he organised at our last minute request, a cultural heritage tour that brought us to visit a local village on bicycles. It was an excellent way to end our safari trip in doing something different yet related to Tanzania. Thank you Castor and the team at Nature Excursion - you have made our family's summer holidays one of the most memorable ever. Asante sana! Zach2022-06-02Verified Very informational, fun, and lots of photo opportunities My wife and I went on a Safari for our honeymoon for 3 days and had a great time. We stayed at the Serena hotel which had great food and could even see some wildlife from the room. The safari itself was wonderful, we saw giraffe, dik dik, leopard, hyenas, lions, zebra, elephant… etc. the only thing we didn’t was rhino but that was because we did not choose to go to Ngorongoro. We had multiple sightings of all the animals, lunch was included as well for picnics. The best part of the trip was the guide who gave information on the Park and on all the individual animals along with being extremely friendly. I’ll be recommending to friends and family. Sam2022-03-17Verified Excellent Safari Trip with Castor ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a marvelous time zipping around the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The driver and guide Castor was exceptional at locating animals and identifying plants during the Safari trip and we got to see ‘the big 5’ and so much more. He was professional, punctual and kept us happy throughout the trip. I would highly recommend others to go with his services. Lana A2022-03-17Verified KASTO IS THE BEST! The 4 day Safari trip with Stanley and Kasto was exceptional. Everything was ready and organized beforehand. All the lodges that we stayed in were amazing and the views were breathtaking. Kasto knew exactly where to take us and he is amazing in spotting animals. The hampers at lunches were delecious and the bottle of wine was the cherry on the top. Thank you for an amazing adventure. GamoTheExplorer2022-03-14Verified Outstanding experience We have had an amazing experience with Kasto and Nature Excursion company. We have heard them from a friend and we organize a 3 days Serengeti and 1 day Ngorongoro safari trip with them. Kasto picked us up from Kilimanjaro Airport and he drove us to Serengeti. We did 3 days safari in Serengeti and another amazing experience in Ngorongoro. Kasto was not only an amazing driver, but also an amazing guide. He has had this magic skill to see all the animals in distance. Kasto was always on time and a very safe driver. We highly recommend Nature Excursion company for your Tanzania trips. They can tailor your trip according to your time and budget. Thank you Kasto. We will miss you! Adèle M2022-02-24Verified Safari Just ending a 5 days Safari with a lot of satisfaction. Organisation was great (journey-accommodation-food), Castor seems passionated by his guide job and Steven cooks very well, both keeping excellent mood and humor.
