5 Days Kenya Safari Naivasha/Nakuru and Mara.

Packed with wildlife including the Big Five and numerous bird  species, the Masai Mara is also home to the greatest wildlife show on earth, the annual  wildebeest migration when over two million wildebeest, zebra and antelope journey  from Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park to Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve to  find greener pastures. You’ll be guided by an English-speaking driver/guide  knowledgeable in the flora, fauna, landscape and Kenyan culture. There’s also a chance  to experience a magical balloon safari and the Masai culture on a village visit (optional  activities). 

Day 1 – Arrival and Lake Naivasha Safari

Your journey starts in Nairobi, where you will be picked up and driven to Lake Naivasha, about a two-hour drive away.

• Boat Safari: Take a scenic boat ride on Lake Naivasha, famous for its hippos and diverse birdlife.
• Crescent Island: Enjoy a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, where you’ll walk alongside giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.
• Evening by the Lake: Check into a lakeside lodge and relax while enjoying the sunset over the water.

Day 2 – Exploring Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a paradise for bird lovers and home to Kenya’s largest population of white and black rhinos.

• Game Drive: Look out for lions, leopards, and buffaloes in the acacia forests.
• Flamingo Spotting: Lake Nakuru is known for its stunning pink flamingos.
• Makalia Falls: Visit the beautiful Makalia Falls, a hidden gem in the park.
• Overnight in Nakuru: Enjoy a relaxing night at a safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 3 – Journey to Masai Mara

After breakfast, embark on a scenic 5-hour drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most famous safari destination.

• Check-in at Lodge: Settle into your safari lodge or tented camp.
• Evening Game Drive: Witness the golden savannah come to life with roaming elephants, cheetahs, and gazelles.
• Cultural Experience: Optional visit to a Maasai village to learn about their traditions and way of life.

Day 4 – Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

Day 5 – Final Safari and Return to Nairobi

• Drive Back to Nairobi: Return to the capital by early afternoon, marking the end of your safari adventure.
