Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya – The Gateway to Africa
Your African adventure begins in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, known for its vibrant culture and wildlife. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife destinations. The Mara is renowned for its Big Five and the annual migration of wildebeest and zebras, which attracts wildlife lovers from around the globe. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on an afternoon game drive, getting your first glimpse of lions, elephants, giraffes, and more.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara
Spend an entire day exploring the Masai Mara, with morning and afternoon game drives. This is the perfect opportunity to see predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards in action. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the incredible wildebeest migration or the calving season, where young animals are born amidst a frenzy of predators.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
On Day 4, you’ll cross the border into Tanzania and head to the Serengeti National Park, one of the world’s most iconic safari destinations. Known for its endless plains and rich biodiversity, the Serengeti is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including the famous wildebeest migration. Your game drive in the Serengeti will offer a chance to spot predators such as lions and cheetahs, as well as elephants and zebras.

Day 5: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti National Park

If you’re visiting during the migration season, you may see river crossings, where wildebeest and zebras risk their lives to cross the treacherous Mara River in search of better grazing.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After descending into the crater, enjoy a full-day game drive in one of the richest ecosystems on earth.

Day 8: Lake Manyara to Amboseli National Park, Kenya
On Day 8, you’ll drive back into Kenya and head to Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Known for its large elephant herds and stunning views of the mountain, Amboseli offers fantastic opportunities for wildlife photography, particularly of elephants against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit.

Day 9: Departure from Nairobi
On the final day of your 9-Day Kenya & Tanzania Safari Tour, enjoy a morning game drive in Amboseli before driving back to Nairobi. Depending on your flight time, you can explore Nairobi’s attractions, such as the Karen Blixen Museum or Giraffe Centre, before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure.
