9 DAYS SERENGETI WILDEBEEST MIGRATION SAFARI

9 DAYS SERENGETI WILDEBEEST MIGRATION SAFARI

Discover some of Africa’s most glorious wildlife parks on this 9 days Tanzania Safari. From the beautiful lesser-known Tarangire and Lake Manyara to the famous Serengeti and amazing Ngorongoro Crater. Immerse yourself in wildlife and witness the largest overland migration in the world. This private safari offers you the flexibility to travel at your own pace, exactly the way you like it. You will have a private safari vehicle and guide.

Day 1: Arrival Kilimanjaro – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will meet your Miracle Safaris guide, who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. The rest of the day is at leisure, giving you time to relax and enjoy the African atmosphere.

Your personal and experienced guide not only knows a lot about Tanzanian culture, but also provides valuable insights about the national parks and attractions you will visit. Feel free to ask any questions—your guide will be happy to assist throughout your journey.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

Today you visit one of Tanzania’s smaller but most scenic national parks. Lake Manyara is famous for its diverse landscapes and wildlife.

You may see elephants, large troops of baboons, and if lucky, the famous tree-climbing lions. Around the soda lake, wildlife such as buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, and flamingos can be spotted.

The Hippo Pool offers excellent hippo viewing opportunities, while the park also provides spectacular views of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment.

Days 3–5: Serengeti National Park

Your safari continues to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, known for its endless plains and incredible wildlife concentration.

This park is home to the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move across the savannah in search of fresh grazing. Together with your private guide, you will follow the herds across the plains and witness one of nature’s greatest spectacles.

Beyond the migration, the Serengeti offers excellent wildlife viewing including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and many other species. The breathtaking landscapes and rich wildlife make Serengeti one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations.

Day 6: Ngorongoro National Park

Early in the morning, you drive from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through the Great Rift Valley and lush highland forests.

You descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a collapsed volcano that forms a unique ecosystem with diverse vegetation and high wildlife density. The crater is home to elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, and the rare black rhino—making it one of the best places to see the Big Five in a single location.

The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and the area is recognized as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. Optional activities include visiting a traditional Maasai village.

Day 7: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you head to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.

Tarangire is known for its authentic safari atmosphere, giant baobab trees, and rolling landscapes. The park is famous for hosting some of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania, with herds often gathering along the Tarangire River.

You may also see lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and even tree-climbing pythons. Bird lovers will find Tarangire especially rewarding due to its rich birdlife.

Days 8–9: Tarangire – Airport / Departure

These final days are kept flexible for relaxation or additional activities depending on your flight schedule. After your safari experience, your driver will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.

If you wish to extend your holiday, Tanzania also offers beautiful beach destinations such as Zanzibar, Pemba, and Mafia Islands, perfect for relaxing after your safari adventure.
