7-day Kilimanjaro climbing via the Machame Route

Along the way, you will pass iconic landmarks such as Shira Plateau, Barranco Wall, Karanga Valley, and Barafu Camp while enjoying breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro's unique landscapes.

The adventure culminates with a midnight summit attempt to Uhuru Peak, where you will witness a spectacular sunrise from the Roof of Africa. After celebrating your achievement, you will descend through scenic mountain trails to Mweka Gate, where you will receive your summit certificate before returning to Moshi.

Day 0: Arrival and Drive Moshi Town.

On your arrive at Kilimanjaro airport, meet your transfer driver who will pick-up you and drive to Moshi town in hotel, after check-inn your room, you will meet your Mountain guide who will give you the briefing and will check your mountain equipment. Dinner and overnight will be at Chanya Lodge.

Day 1: Arusha – Machame Gate

We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 0800 and drive to the Machame Gate. After registration and clearances, begin your trek through a spectacular forest area, reaching Machame Camp via Kilimanjaro climbing after 6 or 7 hours. There you will have dinner and overnight (2,700M- 8,856 Ft). Meal Plan: {L, D}

Day 2: Shira Camp

After a short descent, you will begin your trek towards Shira Cathedral. Continuing on, you will pass by a superb bivi cave, just before arriving at Shira Camp, at 3,700 meters (about 12,136 Ft), where you will have dinner and overnight. Today’s climb is about 5-6 hours. Meal Plan: {B, L, D}

Day 3: Baranco Camp

Trek from Shira camp to Baranco Camp. You will have dinner and overnight at Baranco Camp. Baranco is 3,950 M, about 12,950 Ft). Meal Plan: {B, L, D}

Day 4: Karanga Camp

After breakfast, we continue on a steep ridge up to the adventurous Barranco Wall to the Karanga Valley and the junction, which connects, with the Mweka Trail. This is one of the most impressive days to see the power, agility, and strength of your crew zip over this wall with what appears such ease. Overnight at Karanga Camp.

Day 5: Barafu Hut

Trek from Baranco Camp to Barafu Hut (4,550 M, about 14,920Ft) where you will overnight before your ascent to Uhuru Peak. (5,896 M, about 19,340 Ft). Meal Plan: {B, L, D}

Day 6: Uhuru Peak

Shortly after midnight, arise and begin the final ascent to Uhuru Peak. You will then begin your descent to Mweka Hut, 3,100 M, about 10,170 Ft), where you will have dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: {B, L, D}

Day 7: Descent to Mweka Gate
