Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda
Your journey begins at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by a safari guide. After a short briefing, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay, preparing for the adventure ahead. Kenya and uganda Safari
Day 2 – Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, set off for Murchison Falls National Park. En route, stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided trek to see white rhinos. Upon arrival in the park, enjoy an evening game drive before checking in at your lodge.
Day 3 – Exploring Murchison Falls National Park
Start the day with a morning game drive in search of lions, elephants, and buffaloes. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Nile River to spot hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. A short hike to the top of Murchison Falls provides breathtaking views of the powerful cascades.
Day 4 – Transfer to Kibale National Park
Drive through Uganda’s scenic countryside to Kibale National Park, home to 13 primate species. Check into your lodge and relax in preparation for the next day’s chimpanzee trekking experience.
Day 5 – Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
Set out for an exhilarating chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest. Later, explore Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a haven for birds and primates.
Day 6 – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. An evening game drive in the Kasenyi sector offers a chance to see predators like leopards and lions.
Day 7 – Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Embark on a morning game drive, encountering elephants, antelopes, and more. In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its hippo and birdlife.
Day 8 – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Drive through the Ishasha sector, where tree-climbing lions are often spotted. Upon arrival in Bwindi, settle into your lodge for the night.
Day 9 – Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
One of the highlights of the safari is gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Spend an hour observing these majestic primates in their natural habitat. Later, visit a Batwa pygmy community to learn about their culture.
Day 10 – Cross to Kenya and Transfer to Maasai Mara
Fly from Uganda to Kenya and drive to the Maasai Mara, a world-renowned wildlife reserve. Check into your lodge and enjoy an evening of relaxation.
Day 11 – Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara
Spend the entire day exploring Maasai Mara, witnessing the Big Five and, if visiting during the Great Migration, millions of wildebeests crossing the plains. Optionally, visit a Maasai village to learn about their traditions.
Day 12 – Morning Safari and Transfer to Nairobi
Enjoy one last game drive before heading to Nairobi for your departure flight, marking the end of an incredible 12-day safari.
