Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Flight to Serengeti
Your journey begins with an arrival in Arusha, Tanzania’s safari capital. After a quick briefing, you’ll take a scenic flight over the vast plains of the Serengeti, offering breathtaking aerial views of the wildlife below. Upon landing at Seronera Airstrip, your guide will be ready to start your first game drive, where you might spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and cheetahs. After a thrilling day, you’ll settle into a luxury tented camp or lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti
Wake up to the sounds of the wild and prepare for a full day of game drives. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the savannah in search of greener pastures. Your guide will take you to prime locations for spotting big cats like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as large herds of elephants and buffalos.
Day 3: Exploring Central & Northern Serengeti
Today, you’ll explore the diverse landscapes of the Serengeti, from open grasslands to rocky outcrops known as kopjes. These are favorite spots for lions and leopards, who use the rocks as lookout points. You might also encounter hyenas, jackals, and African wild dogs. A picnic lunch in the wilderness will give you time to soak in the beauty of the surroundings before continuing with more game drives.
Day 4: Morning Safari & Flight to Ngorongoro
Enjoy an early morning game drive when predators are most active. After breakfast, you’ll take a short flight to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to relax at your lodge or enjoy a guided nature walk.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Return to Arusha
Your final day includes a half-day game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient volcanic caldera hosts an abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo). After a picnic lunch, you’ll be transferred to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
Rates include:
- Customized Private Safari jeep 4×4 Toyota land cruiser with full-length photographic open roof and all clients are guaranteed window seats. Or 4×4 Open Land Cruiser or Land Rover if requested.
- All services of a trained and experienced English speaking driver guide.
- Serengeti or Ngorongoro National park entry fees.
- Game drives as per the Itinerary.
- All meals and accommodations during safari. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
