Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel for relaxation. You will receive a briefing on the safari itinerary, ensuring you are well-prepared for the adventure ahead.
Day 2 – Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of the world. The journey takes you through lush landscapes, tea plantations, and small villages, offering a glimpse of Uganda’s rural life. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening.
Day 3 – Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to Kibale Forest for an exhilarating chimpanzee trekking experience. The forest is home to over 1,500 chimpanzees, along with other primates such as colobus monkeys and red-tailed monkeys. In the afternoon, explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a haven for bird lovers and primates.
Day 4 – Bigodi Wetland Walk & Community Tour
The day begins with a guided walk through the Bigodi Wetland, where you can spot various bird species, including the great blue turaco. Later, enjoy a cultural tour of the local communities, learning about their traditional ways of life, crafts, and storytelling sessions.
Day 5 – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most popular safari destination. Upon arrival, check into your lodge before heading for an evening game drive in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, and antelopes.
Day 6 – Game Drive & Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel
An early morning game drive offers the chance to see big cats, including tree-climbing lions. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, where you can witness a high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.
Day 7 – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Day 8 – Gorilla Trekking & Departure
The highlight of your trip—gorilla trekking in Bwindi. This once-in-a-lifetime experience allows you to observe these magnificent creatures up close in their natural habitat. After the trek, you will be transferred back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
